Make your own version¶
This skill depends on local details, so the site publishes a brief instead of one institute's skill.
Copy the brief and give it to your agent.
If your agent has a skill-creation skill, such as Anthropic's skill-creator, it will use it.
The agent asks you the questions under "Local details", builds the skill, and runs it once on the test case.
An agent that can read web pages can also fetch the brief itself from https://aiforscientists.eu/skills/slide-library/brief.md.

Recipe: Make materials accessible (https://aiforscientists.eu/recipes/01-make-materials-accessible/)
Build a skill for my own setting from this brief.
If you have a skill-creation skill or tool, use it.
Before you write anything, ask me each question under "Local details", one at a time.
Do not guess an answer; if I do not know one, leave a marked TODO in the skill.
Keep every rule under "Never" in the skill you write.
Write the check under "How to check the output" into the skill, so that it runs every time.
Then run the skill once on the test case and show me the result.
## Purpose
Indexes earlier slide decks and drafts a new talk from an abstract by reusing existing slides.
## Inputs
- A folder of earlier slide decks.
- For a new talk: an abstract or outline, and the length of the talk.
## Output
- An index with one line per slide: deck, slide number, and a short description.
- A build order for the new talk: which slide from which deck, in which order, and which slides are new.
## Steps
1. Read every deck and write a one-line description of each slide.
2. Store the index as plain text next to the decks.
3. For a new talk, match the outline to the index.
4. Propose a build order and mark the gaps that need new slides.
## Local details
1. Where are your slide decks stored, and in which format?
2. Which decks must not be reused, for example confidential or unpublished results?
3. How should the new deck be assembled: by the agent, or by you from the build order?
## Never
- Never reuse unpublished data in a talk unless the user marks it as cleared.
- Never overwrite an earlier deck.
## How to check the output
The speaker reads the build order and checks the slide order and the story.
## Test case
Rebuild a talk you gave recently from its abstract, and compare the build order with the real deck.
Local details¶
Your version needs answers to these questions:
- Where are your slide decks stored, and in which format?
- Which decks must not be reused, for example confidential or unpublished results?
- How should the new deck be assembled: by the agent, or by you from the build order?
Never¶
- Never reuse unpublished data in a talk unless the user marks it as cleared.
- Never overwrite an earlier deck.
Local versions¶
No local version is published yet. If you built one, share it as an example for others.
